{"id":1144,"date":"2010-11-19T16:23:57","date_gmt":"2010-11-19T23:23:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.dadcents.com\/?p=1144"},"modified":"2010-11-19T16:25:50","modified_gmt":"2010-11-19T23:25:50","slug":"11-19-2010-proverbs-1911","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dadcents.com\/2010\/11\/11-19-2010-proverbs-1911\/","title":{"rendered":"11.19.2010 Proverbs 19:11"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Proverbs Post #24-<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Today I was reading in chapter 19, and verse 11 jumped out to me today.\u00a0 It says:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<address style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>19:11<\/strong> A person\u2019s wisdom makes him slow to anger,<\/span><\/address>\n<address style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">and it is his glory to overlook an offense.<\/span><\/address>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8220;A person&#8217;s wisdom makes him slow to anger,&#8221; may be a shocking statement to some. We have the tendency to think our rights allow us to express anger when we are wronged.\u00a0 Another penchant is to jump to conclusions when we are not patient.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8220;It is his glory to overlook an offense,&#8221; offers a different thought process that we are accustomed to utilizing.\u00a0 Why?\u00a0 We want justice.\u00a0 I might suggest that you, nor I always know the circumstances of many situations.\u00a0 Have you ever unintentionally had something backfire as a result of misread intentions?\u00a0 I have seen and experienced evenings and family excursions ruined by quick anger.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"> Are you slow to anger?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"> I want to challenge you to take up reading the Proverb of the day and the entire chapter as well.\u00a0 Lord, please help each one of us to keep our focus on things above and not the things of this earth.\u00a0 Amen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>I am using the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bible.org\/\">Net Bible<\/a> to quote from for these posts.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Proverbs Post #24- Today I was reading in chapter 19, and verse 11 jumped out to me today.\u00a0 It says: 19:11 A person\u2019s wisdom makes him slow to anger, and it is his glory to overlook an offense. &#8220;A person&#8217;s wisdom makes him slow to anger,&#8221; may be a shocking statement to some.
