Proverbs Post #10-<\/p>\n

Today I was reading in chapter 1, vcialis 40mg<\/a> drugs<\/a> and verse 20 spoke to me today.\u00a0 It says:<\/p>\n

1:20<\/strong> Wisdom calls out in the street, sickness<\/a> <\/p>\n

she shouts loudly in the plazas;<\/p>\n

I will admit in the beginning of reading Proverbs every day, for nearly 4 years now, I did not recognize lady wisdom immediately.\u00a0 Satan, the Great Deceiver, masks wisdom every day.\u00a0 I have noticed that worldly wisdom is almost contradictory to Biblical wisdom.\u00a0 Let me give you an example I found while writing my book.\u00a0 I am sure you have heard of paying yourself the first 10% of your paycheck.\u00a0 I know all of the explanations of why this is recommended.\u00a0 The most common is that you need to save for retirement and the “only” way you are going to save that money is by paying yourself first!<\/p>\n

What does the Bible have to say about the first 10%?\u00a0 Proverbs 3:9 says “Honor the Lord from your wealth and from the first fruits of all your crops.”\u00a0 Who should we write our first check to each month?<\/p>\n

The real question is, “Why does a person need to save the first 10%?”\u00a0 My 10 years experience in the financial consulting field showed me people are living way beyond their means and are very discontent!\u00a0 If they do not save the first 10% they will not save any money because they spend all of their earnings each month, and sometimes, more than they make each month.<\/p>\n

Do you hear wisdom as she shouts loudly in the plazas?<\/p>\n

I want to challenge you to take up reading the Proverb of the day and the entire chapter as well.\u00a0 Lord, please help each one of us to keep our focus on things above and not the things of this earth.\u00a0 Amen.<\/p>\n
